Course Description: This program focuses on providing mentorship and guidance to young individuals through the M.A.Y.B.E (Men Assisting Young Brothers to Excel) and Strong W.A.Y.S (Strong Women Assisting Young Sisters) programs. Participants will engage in meaningful discussions, skill-building activities, and personal development.

Week 1-2: Introduction to Mentorship

  • Understanding the role of a mentor
  • Effective communication and active listening
  • Setting personal and academic goals

Week 3-4: Building Resilience and Coping Skills

  • Recognizing and managing stress
  • Developing coping mechanisms
  • Building resilience for life challenges

Week 5-6: Career Exploration and Goal Setting

  • Exploring various career paths
  • Setting short-term and long-term goals

Week 7-8: Final Project and Reflection
